Just wanted to update you on the job. I got it. As of May 6th, I am, once again, the Shift Specialty Coordinator for night shift. That's just a fancy way of saying "Charge Nurse." Leave it to my employer to come up with these names.
So, how do I feel? Well, I have 13 extra hours on the clock for this paycheck. That's overtime. That's bittersweet, my friend, bittersweet. I'm tired, but 13 hours richer...and spent 13 hours less with my family. But I am thankful for what God has given me and am anxious to see what His plans are.
Thanks, dear Husband, for putting up with my mood swings for the past month while I was going through this process. Mood swings are bad.
