For some reason, this picture makes everything OK in life.
I saw it on Pioneer Woman's blog, then in her new cookbook, and now she has posted a link to download it from her photography blog here. Now it is forever mine...and I shall look upon it and let it remind me that I, too, will become a self-taught photographer someday. Thanks P-Dub!
When I see a red-maned horse, it makes me think of my old pony, Rocket from my childhood, which also reminds me of my childhood beloved German Shepard mix, Ceaser, who then reminds me that I have to feed my current German Shepard, Maverick...which reminds me that I need to vaccuum the doghair off the stairs. So when I go to the stairs, I trip over my daughter's flip-flops which remind me of Summer which is ending and I have to organize all my photos from Summer into scrapbooks, but in order to do so I have to do some photo editing on my iPhone before I can add them to my scrapbooks, which reminds me to check my email while I'm on my phone...in which one email contains the snack schedule for my daughter's cheerleading games, which reminds me that I have to work the night before, which stresses me out, and I realize I have to go to work tomorrow so I have to get the dishes done, which reminds me that I have to come up with something to cook tonight which leads me to check for recipes on my computer, which leads me to Pioneer Woman's blog, which has the link to the picture of the beautiful red-maned horses...(gasp)... No wonder I get heart palpitations.
Anyway, love this picture...I have to go feed Maverick.
